Western Blot

ELISA

Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for quantifying proteins, antibodies, and hormones. Supports direct, indirect, sandwich, and competitive formats with standard curve preparation.

Cell Culture

Maintain and propagate mammalian cell lines. Protocols cover media preparation, passaging, cryopreservation, thawing, contamination prevention, and cell counting.

Molecular Cloning

Insert DNA fragments into vectors for propagation and expression. Covers restriction digestion, ligation, Gibson assembly, and colony screening.

Bacterial Transformation

Introduce plasmid DNA into competent bacteria. Includes chemical (heat shock) and electroporation methods with competent cell preparation and selection.

2–3 hours + overnight

Transfection

Deliver nucleic acids into eukaryotic cells. Covers lipofection, electroporation, and calcium phosphate methods with optimization for different cell types.

1–3 days

Immunoprecipitation / Co-IP

Isolate specific proteins and their binding partners from cell lysates using antibody-coated beads. Includes lysis conditions, bead preparation, washing, and elution.

6–8 hours

ChIP (Chromatin Immunoprecipitation)

Study protein-DNA interactions by crosslinking, fragmentation, immunoprecipitation, and DNA analysis. Used for transcription factor binding and histone modification studies.

2–3 days

Flow Cytometry

Analyze cell populations by fluorescent labeling and laser-based detection. Covers sample preparation, staining panels, compensation, gating strategies, and data analysis.
